النعمة والسلام مع الرب
فَوَقَفَ زَكَّا وَقَالَ لِلرَّبِّ:«هَا أَنَا يَارَبُّ أُعْطِي نِصْفَ أَمْوَالِي لِلْمَسَاكِينِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ وَشَيْتُ بِأَحَدٍ أَرُدُّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَضْعَافٍ». فَقَالَ لَهُ يَسُوعُ:«الْيَوْمَ حَصَلَ خَلاَصٌ لِهذَا الْبَيْتِ، إِذْ هُوَ أَيْضًا ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، لأَنَّ ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ قَدْ جَاءَ لِكَيْ يَطْلُبَ وَيُخَلِّصَ مَا قَدْ هَلَكَ». (لوقا١٩ :٨ -١٠ )
But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."
