النعمة والسلام مع الرب
فَعَظَّمْتُ عَمَلِي: بَنَيْتُ لِنَفْسِي بُيُوتًا، غَرَسْتُ لِنَفْسِي كُرُومًا. عَمِلْتُ لِنَفْسِي جَنَّاتٍ وَفَرَادِيسَ، وَغَرَسْتُ فِيهَا أَشْجَارًا مِنْ كُلِّ نَوْعِ ثَمَرٍ. عَمِلْتُ لِنَفْسِي بِرَكَ مِيَاهٍ لِتُسْقَى بِهَا الْمَغَارِسُ الْمُنْبِتَةُ الشَّجَرَ. فَعَظُمْتُ وَازْدَدْتُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا قَبْلِي فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَبَقِيَتْ أَيْضًا حِكْمَتِي مَعِي.(حامعة٢ :٤ -٦ ،٩ )
I undertook great projects: I built houses for myself and planted vineyards. I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees. I became greater by far than anyone in Jerusalem before me. In all this my wisdom stayed with me. (Ecclesiastes 2:4-6,9, NIV)
